Meet Logan Reynolds (Character Interview by Lisa Kessler)
Meet Logan Reynolds
Character Interview by Lisa Kessler
July 7, 2016
Please tell us your name and a little about your background.
My name is Logan Reynolds, and I’m the lead singer for Logan and the Howlers. We’re an alt rock indie band based in Reno, Nevada, and I write our songs.
Is there someone special in your life?
Yeah, her name is Vivianna Lopez. My Anna. She’s my mate, my muse, my world really. And she does not take any crap from anyone. She’s also one of the only people in the world who forgets I’m a rock star. To her, I’m just Logan, and deep down, that’s really all I’ve ever wanted to be.
What would you sacrifice to be with your special someone?
I would give up everything for another chance to make things right with Anna. One more chance to love her.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
In my world, we recognize our one true mate for life when we touch her skin to skin. So it’s not really at first sight, but once our wolf recognizes her, we struggle to catch up with our instincts, and as my packmates will attest, fate puts the right mate in your path to make you whole.
If you could travel back in time to change one thing in your past, what would it be?
I would’ve shown up for the prom. Hurting Anna is the biggest regret of my entire life.

When she’s not writing, Lisa is a professional vocalist, and has performed with San Diego Opera as well as other musical theater companies in San Diego.
She’s his muse, his mate, and she’s completely off-limits.
He’s a jerk, a recluse, and her newest assignment.
Until he broke her heart, Vivianna Lopez loved Logan Reynolds.
Five years later, she’s an aspiring music journalist and he’s the camera-shy lead singer of Logan and the Howlers.
Armed with a backstage pass, Vivi’s back in her hometown of Reno, nestled in the shadows of the Sierra Nevada mountains. She must score an interview with Logan to land her dream job – otherwise it’s back to Boston, with no scoop and no job. It’s just business–at least that’s what she keeps telling herself.
Logan still loves Vivi, his soul mate, but there’s something even she doesn’t know about him: He turns into a werewolf every full moon and a secret organization is hunting down his Pack.
Vivi may not have Logan’s senses, but she can sniff out that he’s hiding something. He knows it’s only a matter of time before the truth about him – and his Pack – is revealed.
And then he really will lose her.
I frowned and paused the recorder. The bastard was enjoying this. “I’d like to get this interview over as soon as possible.” I brushed my hair back over my shoulder, unable to miss the way his eyes tracked my every move. I straightened in my chair. Let him look. I wanted him to remember what he lost. “I didn’t come here for a walk down memory lane.”
“Sorry.” His jaw clenched as he stared outside. “I never should have agreed to this.”
“Excuse me?” I shook my head.
He got up, pacing near the window. “I thought I could answer your questions and you could walk back out of my life.”
Pressure built up behind my eyes, an ache pulsing through my head. “News flash. I’m not in your life. I haven’t been since you walked out of mine.”
Damn him for being even sexier than I remembered, and for making my heart race with a look, and for making me wish for the one thing that could bring me to my knees.
No way. Never again. “I’ve moved on.”
Logan turned, his head tilted slightly. “Have you?”
